Abraham Lincoln

He was the 16th president of the United States. He helped save the Union when some Southern States Seceded. Lincoln set gentle terms of peace so that the Confederate States would not be reluctant to join back. He gave the Gettysburg Address which was one of the most memorable speeches ever given and talked about why the war was being fought. Lincoln was the first president to be assassinated.
