Participation in sports, clubs, student societies, orchestral groups and part-time jobs line the resumes of many students.

Senioritis: disease that strikes high school seniors. Symptoms include laziness, lack of studying Repeated absences, excessive wearing of sweatpants*, and general decrease in motivation, or slacking. Senioritis is a horrible sickness that takes over the minds of seniors and negatively affects them. It may sound dumb, but it is something serious!! Are you overcome by Senioritis?

All of us are quite aware of the term 'economy downturn' or 'recession' and we all know that that's bad news. People are losing jobs, people who have jobs try to keep their jobs and some who've retired return to their old jobs. With all the emphasis on work work work, stress build up and most of us, are in dire need of a vacation.

It seems that as a person progress to and through high school, academic performances becomes sort of life’s backdrop and social networking become more and more of a priority. This is especially the case as we develop more mature and complexes relationships with the people surrounding us. For that very reason, nothing could be more confusing and difficult for an individual than searching for love and, as almost always what tends to happen, losing the object of your affection’s love.

Everybody isn't perfect and many people have self issues within themselves. Some people learn to love themselves and how they are created. Others do not how to deal with their issues, and may take their anger out on somebody else at school or maybe at their home. If your having self issues at school the best thing to do is let your counselor know. Many students are afriad to tell their counselors their feelings and the problems that are going on in their lifes. Students need to realize that is what counselors are for, to help you.

When starting high school many will agree that freshmen year is the most easiest to get through. Many students dont stress the first year of highschool and suddenly over look it. Your 9th grade year is when your GPA starts to build. As many of us know colleges look out for your GPA. If you get into highschool with the "I don't care" attitude it will effect your GPA and once you get to be an upper classmen it may be to late. As you progress through highschool your GPA will be harder to bring up. That being said it would be critical to start your 9th grade year with a BANG.
