September 8, 2013 Hi, my name is Claire Wertz and today I'm going to be teaching you how to solve your very own Rubik's Cube. As you can see I have an already solved Cube. Any volunteers to mix it up thoroughly? *Hand to Audience member* When I was younger I remember my aunt Andy being able to solve a Rubik Cube in a record time of 57 seconds, I was always so mystified as to how she was able to do it, but whenever I asked she would always tell me its just math. Now that I am older I understand exactly what she meant. In order to solve the Rubik Cube, you will need a Rubik's cube, a basic understanding of the math, and the actual math equations. You will want to solve this cube because it is great for mind stimulation and mental health.

9-24-13. Period 6, ROUGH DRAFT. Handprints in the mirrors, footsteps on the stairs, mysterious smells, vanishing objects, death by poison, hangings, gunfire, adultery, and murder are just some of the words that one would use when describing the Myrtle Plantation in St. Francisville, Louisiana . Hello, my name is Claire Wertz. When I was in eighth grade, my Louisiana history teacher had told stories of her encounter with the Myrtle House, which in turn, peaked my curiosity for the subject. When talking about old southern Louisiana plantations, the Myrtle house is easily the most popular. Why? Well, that's what I am here to tell you about. Today I will take you from the very beginning of the plantation to present day events.

I evaluated toys at a Toys R Us website. Gender role stereotyping is present in this store. One example of gender role stereotyping occurred in the ?Building sets? sub category. I noticed that building sets for boys offered a much larger selection than the building sets for girls. The building sets for boys yielded 47 items to choose from, while the girls building sets offered on 11 items. (Toysrus.com, 2013) Another example of gender stereotyping was visible in the ?Building Sets? category. Most of the boys? building sets were had superheroes and action themes. The way this relates to gender stereotyping is that males are supposed to be strong and be achievement-oriented.
