4520 APUSH Period 3 Reformations of the 19th Century Between 1820 and 1860 there was much reformation fervor. The 2nd Great Awakening is what ignited this burning desire for reformation. It led to prison reform, church reform, education reform, temperance movement, and women's rights movement. American reform movements in this era particularly education, temperance, and utopian experiments, reflected both optimistic and pessimistic views of human nature and society.

Harini Pasupuleti Period 3+4 The general message of the seven commandments is that there can be no leader, and the leadership comes out of the people. It also asserts animal dominance over the human race, and did not want to be like the humans. The point of these commandments was to rule the animals without human aid. Sugar Candy mountain symbolizes heaven, because there is no problems or any difficulty in Sugar Candy mountain. The pigs discourage this because it symbolizes religion which is human like.

Justin Chang APUSH Response #1 The ways the colonies were connected to each other was that all colonies were completely dominated by the British government and heavily Christian based. Colonies became stressed by laws such as the Naval Law and increasing taxes but were not able to participate in politics. Since the colonies were formed mainly to escape Catholicism, the colonies were very religious.
