The Japanese in the times between 1500 and 1800 Japan went through political strengths and weaknesses. At the beginning, near 1500, Japan was feeling the pain of being a politically weak empire submitting to common warfare. But as the time progressed a new Shogunate came into the picture, Tokugawa, which led the empire out of its misery. This change was more than just minor; it was colossal in how it kept the Japanese civilization alive.
