Trevor Jordan 10/20/10 APUSH During the period of 1824 through 1845, President Andrew Jackson had a great influence over the economic developments and reform movements in the U.S (mainly because he was president for eight of these twenty-one years). Jackson was faced with a lot of controversial issues while he was president, and he made tough decisions. In the end, this was the era of the common man because that is how Jackson was portrayed by the people that supported him, also because of the influence of his presidency.
