Need Notes?
While we strive to provide the most comprehensive notes for as many high school textbooks as possible, there are certainly going to be some that we miss. Drop us a note and let us know which textbooks you need. Be sure to include which edition of the textbook you are using! If we see enough demand, we'll do whatever we can to get those notes up on the site for you!
er? yeah...so i've noticed -_-...i was being sarcastic. my definition of zygote is different darling.
lol, then the word you're looking for is "egg"

no, i meant zygote, because for me when it's fertilized it still isn't living. it's not living until after the first trimester.
oh, now i get it. but...it's alive from the moment of conception. in my opinion anyway....oh, and all those doctors out there, but they don't know what they're talking about, right? :p

okay, only the thing is....cells are living, hearts are still living even when the person is dead..it seriously depends on what you define as living, sure some doctors say it's right when it's fertilized others might disagree and other scientists might disagree as well. but that doesn't adress the fact of what you'd do when a woman went to some sketchy service to get an abortion and died from it? then what would happen?
That's a whole different debate in itself.
(Debating when the fetus is actually alive and is considered a human being)
yeah, i was going to point that out...err..the debate about "when does life begin" haha deep, right?
As far as I'm concerned the 'thing' in the womb is not a human and therefor does not have human rights until it actually is born. It is a step we all had to take to have human rights apply to us. Why should we take yet another selection process away from nature? Haven't we screwed with the process of natrual selection enough? It all goes back to the school zones...
Umm.. I don't really understand what you just said.
How is a fully-formed fetus not a human? What does it lack that we have? How is it any less?
It hasn't been born. Period. It may physically be alive but it has not taken a nessecary step, birth, to be a fully fledged human.
