So what your saying is that your willin gto kill somebody so you don't have to go through 9 months of pain?

if they didnt' use a condom it's both the man and the woman's fault. if they did, it's noones fault but a condom is not likely to break. but it is definitely not the child's fault for his birth and his wrecked life due to his mom's and if he's lucky his dad's decisions.

That's when another ethical issue comes into play - the fact that the child hasn't "lived", if you will, at all.

The genetic material in all the choromosomes of an individual human are all the same. Different parts of the genetic material are used in development. A human body cell has 46 chromosome. One pair out of the 46 chromosomes is either a set of XY chromosomes or a set of XX chromosomes. All make cells contain the XY set of chromosomes, while all female cells contain the XX set of chromosomes. The egg and the sperm, the human gametes, each contain half the number of chromosomes of a human body cell -- 23 chromosomes. The gamete also contains the X and Y chromosomes, except it will only have one rather than two. An egg cell always has only an X chromosome since it is a female cell. A male cell however can have an X or a Y. If a male gamete with an X chromosome fertilizes the egg, the zygote is a female. If the male gamete with a Y chromosome fertilizes the egg, the zygote will be a male. At this point however it is impossible for a doctor to determine the gender of the child unless he/she actually takes takes the cell and dissects and observes it under a microscope. Later on, visible features of the gender begin to form and thats when mothers are able to find out what the gender of the baby is.

A baby has a beating heart by week 5.
The major muscle system is developed by week 7.
The baby is moving freely and swimming by week 8.
By week 12, a baby has a fully developed brain and well developed nervous system. The baby can feel pain. The fetus may even suck his thumb.

So at week 12, the baby can feel pain. But I guess it's still okay to suck the baby apart with a vaccum in a procedure called an abortion. Think again.

I think what is going wrong here is that many of you liberals are JUDGING the future. You are asking too many what-ifs. You are assuming that because the slut couldn't keep her skirt down that she is irresponsible. You are assuming because she got knocked up that the baby will have a terrible life. You are assuming that because she has to resort to "unsafe" sex, that the baby is better off down the toilet that at the chance of life. Look at it this way, everything comes with a consequence. When i look at the stove, there is a decent chance that it is turned on. But i proceed to touch it anyways. There is a possibility that i will be burned, there is also a possibility that i will not be burned. If it is on, i must live with the fact that my hand was burned, if it is off...then i got off lucky. This is the same thing with sex. When i concent to having sex, i concent to the possibility of becoming pregenant. That is just a known fact. People shouldn't be able to cop-out of it that easily. It is not the zygotes fault that you got knocked up. Additionally, it is not our place to judge the future life of a child, we should let it decide for itsself. We should not say that just because the woman has a disease that the child will not have a life worth living...because that is just stupid. Life is a gift, and we shoudl not be responsible for taking away that gift. We should not be responisble for judging how much or how little that life would be worth living. Overall, you concent to sex, you concent to giving birth...why should YOU be allowed to speak for something that can't speak yet...when you are the one making the bad choices in the first place.

I think that abortion should be illegal in EVERY case!!! There is no good reason to kill a child. If a women is the victim of rape, a horrible crime, why add to her emotional trauma? Killing her child isn't the answer, she can give the baby up for adoption and know that something good came out of her ordeal. If the women/girl is a victim of incest, why trap her in the cycle?? The person that is doing the incesting will convience himself futher that there isn't any consequences to his digusting acts. And besides, 75% of women who get abortions are getting one because having a baby would change their school or work situation, basically for their own needs.

You know, there was a reason the royal families started dying out and getting steadily crazier and less effective. If two people from the same gene pool have a child, the child is most likely to inherit inferior genes and to have defects. Incest often creates children that are mentally ill or deformed. Even if they aren't seriously messed up, they generally aren't as intelligent or quick as those that were born of different families.

I know but why kill the child? Should we kill all babies that might have a mental defect or problem?
