P+N If there is a power to the left of the element, that implies the mass. Isotope: same atom with same atomic number, but different number of neutrons. Different weight. Neutrons and protons are INSIDE nucleus. Electrons on orbitals. Valence electrons= electrons on outermost shell. The electrons that do all reactions.

The History of Cars Topic Two: Muscle Cars of the 1960?s Have you ever wondered what cars from the 60?s were like, and even what they meant? American automobiles from the 1960?s were based upon the American identity of the time period, and we wanted bigger, faster cars, which lead to the muscle car. Not only did muscle cars during the 1960?s impact the American Identity because of their appeal to young people who were questioning authority, but also because the designs of these cars were aimed at American buyers in hopes to reduce the amount of imported cars purchased by Americans.

AP Human Geography FOLK CULTURE VS. POPULAR CULTURE PLAY LIST PROJECT Music is one of the best ways to express traditional culture and modern culture. Music in America has shown us many cultural aspects of our heritage as Americans, historical events, and societal issues. Even music today is used to show political, economic, and social issues to Americans and it is a way to demonstrate our free speech right. The Task: You will need to create a music play list on a CD that demonstrates American folk and popular music. You may pick any songs from any decade that represent both types of culture. ( All songs must be school appropriate.) Your play list is worth 50 points of your project. The items include: At least 5 American folk songs (10 points)
