O n a dark winter night, a ghost walks the ramparts of Elsinore Castle in Denmark. Discovered first by a pair of watchmen, then by the scholar Horatio, the ghost resembles the recently deceased King Hamlet, whose brother Claudius has inherited the throne and married the king’s widow, Queen Gertrude. When Horatio and the watchmen bring Prince Hamlet, the son of Gertrude and the dead king, to see the ghost, it speaks to him, declaring ominously that it is indeed his father’s spirit, and that he was murdered by none other than Claudius. Ordering Hamlet to seek revenge on the man who usurped his throne and married his wife, the ghost disappears with the dawn.

Vaughn Stumvoll Current World Problems CBA Arizona Immigration Law The law, SB1070, has been passed in Arizona. This makes it a crime under state law to be in the country illegally, and grants police the power to stop and verify immigration status of anyone they suspect of being illegal("SENATE BILL 1070"). This new law clearly violates the U.S. Constitution in two ways. To address the issue of illegal immigration patching up the border should be more of a priority than getting illegals out of the U.S.

The Sargasso Sea is named after the seaweed which resides there in such quantities. First discovered by Christopher Columbus and his crew, the Sargasso Sea was known for unusually calm winds and its myth of demise for those who sailed it. In fact it was Columbus who traveled through the sea sighting the seaweed and assuming that land was nearby. He of course could not have been less correct in his theory.
