There have been many different genocides in the past, some are highly destructive, but others, not as abominable, were still terrible. One occurrence of genocide that is rather well known is the Holocaust. The main man that was in command of the events of Holocaust was Adolf Hitler. He targeted many different groups. But of all of the targeted groups of the Holocaust, the Jewish religion was the most affected.

The basic themes of the three great classical civilizations of China, India, and the Mediterranean involved expansion and integration. Throughout the classical world, these themes faltered between 200 and 500 C.E., signaling the end of that era.
