You've probably heard of this story by now. Daniel Hauser is a 13 y/o who's been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, which is said to be highly treatable with chemo and radiation. Daniel's family is Catholic but also "believe in the 'do no harm' philosophy of the Nemenhah Band, a Missouri-based religious group that believes in natural healing methods advocated by some American Indians." So the family prefers natural healing and feels suspicious about the effects of chemo (and rightfully so).

I wonder why the itsy bitsy spider went up so high So far up in the very wild blue yonder sky Why couldn?t you just stay? (Rhetoric question) It doesn?t have to be this way Up you go towards the pristine lucid water spout What is this all about? (Alliteration) Now comes the rain pounding down like angry fists on the roof of the car (metaphor) Soon this is going to wane in minutes so far Drenches the spider out Now the pitch-dark spider has a doubt Up comes the sight of bright light from the sun (internal rhyme) And dried up all the rain that had begun Now itsy bitsy spider Climbed the water spout
